ETSE GOALS: An Erasmus+ cooperation project in the field of vocational education and training.

The ETSE Goals project was born out of a desire to design strategies and programmes to improve the public education system and to contribute to innovation in vocational education and training. The project explores how education of sustainable development could become an integral part of vocational training, especially for future entrepreneurs in the social economy, but also for other professions in the social sector.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations represent an opportunity for young social entrepreneurs to address the existing global challenges in terms of sustainable development. They can be tools for innovation and creativity to implement solutions, and the European social economy sector should not ignore this.

The discrepancy between the different practices and the fact that it is sometimes forgotten that entrepreneurship and business are directly linked to social aspects and the sustainable development of regions and countries is one of the main motivations of the ETSE - Goals consortium. Apart from these reasons, it is important to unify the criteria for the European Education Area and the improvement and innovation of vocational education and training as a driver for the creation of a skilled workforce.
